Deletion Policy for Project & Print Data
- We store personal data only for as long as it is necessary for the respective purposes (in accordance with the GDPR principle of storage limitation).
- Editor projects are automatically deleted after a maximum of 365 days of inactivity.
- Ordered projects and uploaded print data, as well as relevant order data (including XML files), are retained for order processing and support/reprints for up to 90 days and are then completely deleted.
- Legal retention obligations (e.g. for invoices and accounting records) may require longer storage periods; such obligations do not apply to transmitted print data or user-generated content (UGC).
- Deleted data may remain temporarily in backups; backups are used solely for recovery purposes and are regularly overwritten as part of scheduled processes.
- You may request early deletion of your data or object to processing based on legitimate interests at any time. In this case, please contact us at info@printmynewspaper-online.com. We will comply with your request for data deletion without undue delay.

1. Collection of personal data
1.1 Your data will be collected and stored solely with your consent or where necessary for the purpose of providing the specified service. If you are not willing to provide us with your consent, we regret that you will not be able to use our services.
1.2 The use of the website is free of charge and possible without providing personal data or registering.
1.3 To send us a print-related enquiry, the following personal information is required by FUNKE Druck to process the request:

The company name, address (street, postcode and town) as well as the fax number can optionally be provided. Details regarding the print order (scope, edition, format etc.) must also be included.
2. Use of data
2.1 Your personal data will only be used by FUNKE Services with your express consent or where required for the purpose of fulfilling your order. 2.2 We use and process your personal details in anonymised format for our own statistical evaluations (see below). As part of evaluations, no reference can be made to your person from the data.
2.3 Your details will not be passed on to third parties unless this is required for the purpose of fulfilling the order (e.g. quote creation). In these cases, the data transferred will be limited to the absolute minimum required. When you order from Switzerland, your personal data will be sent to MeinEinkauf AG, St. Gallen, for the purpose of processing customs clearance and fulfilling the purchase.
3. Right to information and cancellation
3.1 You are entitled at any time to obtain information on your stored data, or to correct, block or delete your stored data free of charge.
3.2 You may of course withdraw your consent to the processing and use of your data at any time.

Terms & Conditions – Deletion and Retention Rules for Project & Print Data
- Outside of our design tool, you are responsible for securing your own print data.
- Editor projects: automatic deletion due to inactivity will take place after a maximum of 365 days, fully automated and without prior notice.
- Ordered projects and uploaded/transmitted print data: retention for up to 90 days. After deletion, there is no entitlement to restoration.
- Statutory retention of business and tax-relevant documents remains unaffected; print data and print content are generally not included in such obligations.
